*Position: CMDB Analyst* *Location: Hershey, PA* *Start: ASAP* *Duration: 6-8 months* Engagement Overview We are looking for assistance in developing, populating and validating our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) on the ServiceNow platform. Specifically, this position will focus on researching configuration item (CI) relationships and building them within ServiceNow. The successful candidate will have expertise in ITIL Service Management with a focus on CMDB and experience configuring and administering ServiceNow. Duties - Support the design, development, and implementation of the CMDB with automated processes for gathering, populating, and maintaining configuration items in the CMDB. - Integrate manually collected CI information into the CMDB and identify relationships between CIs to create an accurate Business Service Map - Collect, review, analyze, CMDB data and provide best practice documents and deliverables of recommendations to improve CMDB management - Define and perform on-going asset and CI validation routines to ensure data integrity and accuracy - Gather functional requirements for reporting and work with technical teams to implement - Provide knowledge, expertise and training on the use of the CMDB process and ServiceNow platform Required Skills - Minimum of *ITIL v3 Foundation Certification* - ServiceNow system administration and configuration management - Ability to research, compile and analyze data related to *CMDB CIs* using tools such as *MS-Excel along with ServiceNow* - Ability to understand and work with CMDB CI discovery techniques including WMI, SMTP and SSH. - ServiceNow system administration and configuration management Required Experience - *ITIL ITSM* implementation especially in *CMDB building and maintenance* - *ServiceNow* system administration and configuration management - UNIX and/or Windows Server Systems Administration for foundational understanding of CMDB CI data ============================================================================================================================= *Position: Event Management/ Solarwinds Expert* *Location: Hershey, PA* *Start: ASAP* *Duration: 6-8 months* Engagement Overview We are looking for assistance with a *SolarWinds* deployment project. We are looking for skills and experience in event management in general and *SolarWinds* in particular. Currently, the platform is built and in-place. This engagement will focus on investigating, documenting and migrating Network equipment, Linux, Solaris and Windows Servers to SolarWinds from existing monitoring platforms. Knowledge and experience developing SolarWinds monitors, alerts and actions is crucial along with the ability to document the environment and turnover the platform to Hershey staff. *Duties* - Migrate monitoring and alerting from legacy platforms by investigating the existing landscape, recommending and implementing similar or enhanced capabilities in Solarwinds.
