Title: CVS/MAVEN/Java Build Manager Location: US-MO-Saint Louis Rate: $50/hr
Duration: 18 Months Job Description: Manage day to day support of builds and deployments. 1) Team migration to Subversion 2) Facilitate team build standards - whether that be Maven, Ant, etc. Contain the diversity of approaches. 3) Facilitate team dependency management standards - Maven, Ivy, etc. Contain the diversity of approaches. 4) Dependency management coordination - become aware of, and periodically check for updates to dependencies we use. Keep track of whose on which versions of what. Facilitate migration. 5) Environment tracking - what versions are in which environments- which environments are available, etc... 2+yrs CVS/SVN admin (branching, tags,etc.) 2yr Tomcat web server admin 2yr Apache web server admin Oracle DBA skills desirable Linux admin skills desirable Create shell/Perl scripts for admin purposes. Must be able to work with developers and operations in a rapid agile environment. Must be able to write documentation and give training to developers. Job includes some night/weekend work.
