You will provide support of existing code for WiFi Web-based tools, properties, captive portals and micro-sites. Key Accountabilities • Develops ETL scripts into Talend. • Documents code in-line and in supporting documentation. • Develops and adheres to Web development best practices. • Provides complete and thorough unit test case development, execution and documentation. • Troubleshoots IP connectivity. Interview: Candidates should submit Python test experiences with resumes - used test called "Prove It" (?) and want a 75% passing rate. Phone interview with Christina and maybe a PM first, and then in-person with technical team where they'll do hands-on coding examples. Will make exceptions for in-person for very strong candidates. Tech Skills: Required Skills: • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science required. Python is the main skill set • 3 - 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area • 5 - 7 years of Python and Python Framework experience. Framework experience (they use Falcon and Flask) • 2 - 4 years of experience with WordPress and Oracle, Couchbase or MySQL. WordPress is required - new project in 2017 is to build out Content Management System (CMS) to manage portal pages, they want to automate and have templates for their portals to make it easier to make changes Previous experience with CMS • GoLang experience is nice to have. • Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated technical expertise. • Outstanding organizational skills; works well under pressure. • Self-motivated and responsible, providing leadership by example.
