*Job Title BI Developer* *Location Florida/Tampa* *Duration 6 Month/ Contract * *MOI Tel + Skype* *Need Candidate from EST zone only.* *Job Summary:* - The role of the Business Intelligence Developer is to design, develop and maintain Business Intelligence Applications (which can include complex reports, interactive dashboards, OLAP and Data Mining Analytics) by providing technical solutions in support of business objectives and ongoing operations. Must be able to utilize and effectively communicate technical components of an initiative to applicable parties. * Job Duties/Responsibilities:* - The Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance activities of the business intelligence applications for an enterprise data warehouse environment. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Collaborate with business users to capture & define business requirements and then contribute to designing and defining the appropriate data warehouse BI solution, which includes prototyping/demonstrating BI solutions - Design, develop and implement BI metadata/logical data models - Design, develop and implement complex BI user interface objects (e.g. reports, analytics, ad-hoc queries, dashboards etc.) - Determine whether measure calculations and processing should be done in ETL or metadata - Determine requirements for aggregate tables - Design and support BI security model - Develop technical design documents and BI specifications that incorporate BI development standards & best practices - Provide day to day production support of data warehouse BI environment - Troubleshoot performance issues of a BI environment and evaluate existing logic for tuning possibilities *Experience/Skills* - Experience designing, developing and supporting Business Intelligence solutions both custom BI applications as well as 3rd party pre-built BI analytical solutions - OBIEE and/or Business Objects experience - Strong technical knowledge of BI admin/metadata tools, security, user interface designs, development and deployment of dashboards, analytics and performance management reports - Ability to design logical and multi-dimensional data models - Ability to design and develop BI Metadata Repository and identify areas of optimization - Ability to design, build, deploy and support end to end BI solutions - Advanced knowledge of data warehouse development and maintenance lifecycle and methodology - Strong PL/SQL and SQL development and performance tuning skills - Experience with Oracle DBMS preferably Oracle 11g - Experience working in a Unix/Linux environment - Food Service or Retail Industry experience a plus *Education:* - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related area is preferred -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
