*Location: Pleasanton CA* *Interview: Phone and F2F* ***Candidates need to have Insurance Underwriting experience*** *Scope:* The scope of duties for Business Analyst includes, but is not limited to, the following: The consultant resource shall support the State Fund IT Business Analysis team with developing the business requirements for application development projects such as Raptor, Quotes and Claim Datamart, and Comdb. The consultant will provide professional services to support the long term IT strategy and planning to include high level analysis, support testing, professional reports and presentations, and mentoring, support and training. State Fund, at their discretion, can utilize Consultant resource in any capacity to meet the needs of State Fund. Consultant resources may be assigned by State Fund to lead teams, work independently, work on teams lead by State Fund, Consultant resources or, teams lead by other consulting firms. *Tasks* The tasks for the Business Analyst include, but are not limited to, the following: Creates detailed Business Requirement Document (BRD) and translate it into functional specifications. Acts as the expert in all aspects of Business Analysis Performs feasibility analysis, scopes projects, and works with the project management team to prioritize and schedule deliverables, and negotiate on product functionalities. Participates in Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Functionality Testing. Participates in proposal development including estimation and client presentations Attends and contributes to project meetings Ensures that all project documentation is produced in the standard format, that it follows internal documentation processes and is reviewed and approved prior to delivery to State Fund.
