Position: *ETL/Informatica Administrator* Location: Seattle, WA Duration: 6+ Months Detailed Description: • Set up and configuration of enterprise production, QA, development and disaster recovery Informatica environments • Back-up and recovery of Informatica software, repository, and configurations • Disaster recovery planning, design, execution and documentation • Monitoring the environments and suggesting improvements for stability and performance tuning • Provide technical support and work with infrastructure teams to ensure an effective operating environment including throughput, repository sizing, capacity planning, and maintenance • Identify opportunities for improvement, make proposals and participate in the planning of new and enhanced technologies or services within area of expertise • Define standards and implement best practices to manage and support the ETL environment • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, deployment diagrams and check-lists • Automating routine tasks where appropriate *Knowledge and Experience*: • Must have advanced knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter on UNIX/ Linux. • Experience installing Informatica software in High-availability & Clustered environment is required. • Experience with PowerExchange a plus • Experience with Informatica Proactive Monitoring for PowerCenter a plus • Must have experience using Oracle databases in a Unix/ Linux environment. Unix/ Linux scripting knowledge is important. • Must have 5-7 years knowledge of SQL including PL/SQL. • Knowledge of logical, physical, and data-warehouse modeling is desired. • Must have strong project management skills • Must have the ability to think logically and design applications * Education:* • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
