Please include your employer details as well. *Job Title* ETL Developer *Project Location* Albany, NY *Duration* 6 months /Contract *Interview Mode:Phone and Face to Face*** *Skills Required and Job Description:* - Provide expert services in architecting, designing and implementing Data Warehouse solution. - Work with Transportation Economic Development (TED) Project Leader to establish an architectural model and a total solution for the department, establish “best practices”. - Develop complex SQL statements using advanced analysis functions. - Work with TED Project Leader to architect a data warehouse from the ground up, including but not limited to ETL processes and ETL strategy, security, auditing, maintenance, availability, etc. - Use SQL Server 2008 R2 as the database platform. - Work with TED Project Leader to establish the long-term strategy and technical architecture as well as short-term scope for a multi-phased data warehouse effort. - Provide leadership to and collaborate with development project team members. Candidates should have at least 84 months experience, and at least *ONE* of the following should apply: Providing expert services in architecting, designing and implementing data warehouses for large scale / complex applications. Experience in the design of ETL processes and ETL strategy, security, auditing, tuning and maintenance Experience in incorporating data normalization and referential integrity enforcement techniques Experience creating and using procedures, views and functions to support application development Experience with SQL Server databases in delivering large-scale warehousing solutions Establishing long-term strategies and technical architectures as well as the short-term scope of a multi-phased complex data warehouse effort Please note that our client does allow Skype/remote interviews.
