There is a proof of concept implementation for a web program calculator rater today. This project is to enhance this application utilizing Java/Grails to a goal state application. The major technical components of the solution are, jee/java/grails/SQL Server enterprise solution to sourcing and deliverying high impact projects. utilizing Agile/Scrum/Lean as a methodology utilizing CI practices, ATDD, Paired programming, and other XP best practices. Successful candidates for this engagement will be deep technical resources that understand application integration, be thought leaders who love to learn and work in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have the following organizational skills: - Collaboration/Negotiation in a team environment - Excellent Communication and people interaction skills - Learning Agility - Thought Leadership - Agile Mindset The ideal candidate will have the following technical skills: - Design and development phase leadership experience - Jee platform experience - Java Experience - Database / SQL experience - Web Stack - HTML/CSS/Jscript/XML/Json - jee frameworks experience - ORM - Hibernate/Other - jee frameworks experience - MVC - Spring/Struts/Other - jee frameworks experience - Web Services - Rest/SOAP - javascript-UI frameworks experience - Bootstrap/Jquery/Angular/Other - Expert understanding of Agile and project management methodologies - Experience with utilizing Software engineering processes such as TDD/ATDD, paired programming, etc. - TDD/ATTD experience preferred - Insurance Domain Experience Practitioners of the IT Application Development profession primarily focus on providing high quality, cost effective information technology solutions to business partners by creating new or modifying and/or supporting existing software applications. Associates are expected to design, code, analyze, configure, unit test, and maintain applications. Top-level technical expert in one or more highly specialized phases of applications programming. Provides technical consulting on complex projects.
