*Position :* Hadoop BigData Tester *Location :* El Segundo, CA *Duration :* 1+ year *Interview:* Telephonic / Skype *Skills: * We have an immediate contract opportunity with our Client for the position of Big Data tester. Hadoop Developers who are interested to work in Hadoop testing are welcome too. · Minimum of 8 Years of experience with manual and automated testing. · Minimum of 1 year of testing in BigData applications such as HDFS, Flume, Sqoop, Hive, Oozie, Hue, Ambari, Horton Works. · Must have Hadoop & database skills, and should be very comfortable with queries and data analysis. · Big data automation experience is a big plus. · Strong in Linux/Unix commands. · Horton works certification is a plus. · Design test scenarios, create test plans, implement, automate and execute test cases. · Ability to work independently and drive problems to a solution with minimum of oversight. · Team Player with excellent written and oral communication skills. · Previous experience with offshore coordination would be a plus.
