position, please send the resume to vivek.ya...@infogium.com *Position: - Solaris/Unix - LINUX system Administration* *Location: -* *Houston, TX* *Duration*:-*3+Month C2H* *Required Skills:* - Solaris 11 and latest version of Linux - Candidate should be currently performing Patching, Upgrades, Server Network setup, new server builds, Virtualization, storage setup…the whole 9 yards of server build without help - New Unix Systems (Solaris/Linux) builds, rack/stuck servers, install OS standard packages without assistance - Minimum of 5 years of continued Systems Administration experience providing strong operational support in Solaris 11, Linux kernel 5/6/7 - Oracle T4/T5/T7,M10 series, HP Hana Appliances, Oracle Engineered System hardware and software support with firm understanding of fundamental hardware concepts: Root/IO domain/cdoms/ldoms, service domains, Server Pools, Virtual Switches, disk, memory, CPU, NIC, HBA, firmware, RAID, performance concepts (I/O, paging, swapping, system calls) - Experience working in managing file system, package installation, NFS, Samba, Sudo, LDAP - Managing OS performance and Full System monitor using Oracle Ops Center 12c. - Experience with shell scripting, and System security Update and Patching Updates - Effective troubleshooting and analysis of individual systems - Excellent written and oral communications, problem solving and process management skills - Flexible, ability to change priorities quickly, and capacity to handle multiple tasks - Ability to convey technical requirements and concepts to technical and non-technical clients - Self-motivated; ability to work in a team as well as take individual responsibility - Flexibility to work during weekend and holidays depending on the team needs - Worked in Oracle Environment, familiar with Oracle ASM and Database setups, Puppet and heavy automation - Process: ITIL.
