You will be responsible for creating the most practical schema and assisting with interfacing with a variety of other systems to extract data, normalize it and populate the database you create. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with ETL and CMDB experience and should thrive on providing solutions that satisfy the users of this data warehouse. Candidates should be self-motivated and capable of managing their projects from requirement gathering to final implementation with minimal supervision. You will also work closely with the SQL Report Programmer to assist that developer where needed to create the required reports as needed. Must be proficient running SQL Server in the AWS Cloud. Roles and Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for Collaborating with personnel and management as necessary to understand and harvest the required data sources Designing the CMDB Schema to support all the data sources and reports and vetting and refining the results with the users and management Deploy high-availability SQL Server instances in Dev, Test and Prod environments Performing level 3 troubleshooting when problems arise Creating and maintaining CMDB to support, Software/Hardware Requisition, Software Asset Management and other use cases Working with the Enterprise Architecture and Security groups to ensure compliance with corporate standards Documenting technical architectures that can be easily understood by other technical personnel Maintaining API and other interface points with other subsystems Configuring and customizing all aspects of the CMDB Additional DBA duties as assigned Required Qualifications Bachelors degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 7 years database and SQL experience, at least 5 of which must be in environments with complex, multi-gigabyte, replicated databases Minimum of 3 years of configuring and optimizing SSRS At least 3 years experience working in a production/Development 24x7x365 database environment Professional experience with SQL Server MS SQL Server 2008/2012/2014 Ability to work comfortably with local and remote customers and technical resources Fluency with appropriate tools including SQL Management Studio, Query Analyzer, Profiler, Performance Monitor and other SQL Server management tools Proficiency with version control software, preferably Git, though other will suffice Functional competency with Microsoft Office Competency with Amazon Cloud Services / AWS Desired Qualifications Microsoft certification SCRUM/Agile development paradigm Thanks & Regards, *Mohit* *Technical Recruiter* *RG Talent Inc* *39120 Argonaut way* * Suite # 157, Fremont CA 94538* Phone : 510-443-0758 Ext: 185 Email : mo...@rgtalent.com URL : www.rgtalent.com G-Talk:mohit.u...@gmail.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
