*Job Title: Weblogic Administrator* *Location: Lansing, MI* *US Citizens only* *Required Skills:* - Minimum three years administering WebLogic application server with a minimum version of 10 as the last version worked with. - Minimum of five years working in Java application environments, including one or more of the following: WebLogic, WebSphere, or JBoss. - Strong knowledge of the WebLogic administrative console or OEM. - Ability to deploy, update, and restart applications. - Ability to do troubleshooting, including identifying configuration errors, communication problems, and performance problems. - Ability to manage application resources, including increasing and decreasing heap sizes, setting JDBC connection pool sizes, establishing JNDI resources, etc. - At least one year administering WebLogic within a Linux or a commercial UNIX such as Solaris, HPUX, or AIX environment. - Basic networking knowledge, including understanding hosts, IP address, firewalls and the role of load balancers. *Nice to have:* - Experience working with WebLogic in a clustered environment. - Experience working with JMS based queuing - Experience using java flight recorder, including using the output to identify application or resource content. - Shell and system scripting skills including Bash, Perl or Python. - Administration experience in Solaris 11. - Administration experience in RHEL - Strong networking skills such when to use unicast vs. multicast discovery - Administration experience with other Oracle middleware tools such OSB and Portal.
