1.*Infrastructure Project Manager* Quincy, MA 6 month contract The candidate must be capable of working under minimal supervision and produce deliverables in alignment with the overall program. Primary Responsibilities This role works with cross functional teams and is responsible for the planning, designing and developing configurations and an implementation plan including Visio documents, Bills of Material (BOM), and testing criteria for a large scale and complex Enterprise Infrastructure. The backend system solution is comprised of Cisco UCS, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Servers, Oracle middleware and databases (e.g. Fusion/WebLogic), Informatica data management (e.g. MDM, ILM, DDM, CDC), and IBM identity management (e.g. ISIM/ISAM) and software development (Rational) applications. Infrastructure Project Duties: Successful project delivery within an Agile management environment. May take on the role of Scrum Master in some circumstances. Build personal relationships with key staff Good communication around issues and opportunities get things done, make things happen. Communicate across organizational boundaries from engineers through senior managers on behalf of the Program. May have 3rd party management responsibilities. Adapt style to be most effective with customer and service delivery teams. Understand business requirements and financial agreements. Coordinate change requests with release schedules. Ensures operations teams are aware of changes and are prepared. Regularly assess project needs and suggests new service/product offerings Engage additional resources as needed, e.g. specialist teams or people for specific issues / opportunities. Remove all obstacles to project completion and /or financial performance. Identify and act upon opportunities to improve operating efficiencies, end-of-line components, cost savings and/or recurring problems. Work directly Operations and Engineering organizations to address/upgrade service. Along with Operations Managers and Technical Leads, accountable for and contribute to the overall performance of Service Delivery Team. Other: Ensure adherence to corporate policies and standards to meet compliances, availability and disaster recovery. Document technology deployment and operations plans by creating Standard Operating Procedures, training guides (SOP), Concept of Operations (ConOps) and training guides for the Service Delivery Team. Proactively work with vendors & providers on issues identified in products and chase issues until successful resolution. Propose and present solution offerings to solve complex integrated business problems. Develop proof of concept tactical plan; confer with end-users, clients, or business owners to define and document business requirements for complex systems and infrastructure deployments.
