Will be testing API’s…moving from a DWH to Oracle so lots of testing data moving back and forth.* * * *Responsibilities include:* - Participate in all aspects of QA product lifecycle: scoping, planning and test case creation including feature, regression, and integration / end-to-end test execution - Prepare and review test plans / test case documentations with extended Product Development and Product Management teams - Report and verify bugs within a timely manner - Work with Product Management to understand the project functionality and communicate detailed status and issues across teams - Ability to identify and research data issues - Identify project risks and be able to provide alternatives for reducing risk - Communicate status and escalate issues in a timely fashion, working with management to creation, mitigation and contingency plans - Work with Product Development, Product Management, and other QA team members to develop innovative testing solutions that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules, and adherence to testing goals and principles. - The engineer will need to interface with large data sets and diverse database environments - Ability to work independently and lead the QA activities for the projects assigned - Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently *Job Requirements:* - 5+ years experience with UI, API, and/or service testing, test dataset creation and maintenance - Hands-on experience in testing applications with PHP, Java , Servlets, JSP, Java Script/AJAX, CSS, HTML, SOAP, WSDL, XML and XSL - 2 years experience with test automation and code analysis frameworks (i.e. –Selenium, JUnit, etc) - Experience with My SQL and Oracle including writing SQL & PL/SQL; (Data Warehouse & ETL is a plus) - Should be comfortable working with Windows Server and UNIX (Solaris) environments - Experience with Load & Performance testing - Experience in implementing and utilizing test automation frameworks which emphasizes maintainability, including common libraries, data driven testing, UI-independent testing, etc. - Prior experience with Billing and Payments is a plus - Familiarity with shell programming & Perl is a plus - Strong communication skills required; communicate effectively with peers and upper management on strategy, and changes/impacts to it - Experience in working closely and building a rapport with developers, product management, and other QA team members - Proactively recommend coding solutions, fix bugs, and solve problems - Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment and manage continuously changing business needs; excellent time management skills required. *Education:* - BSCS or BSEE or Other Related 4yr Technical Degree -- ** ** ** *Appreciate your quick response …… !!!* * Thanks & Regards, Venu Quadrant 4 860 US Highway 1North, Suite 203 Edison, NJ 08817 Phone: 732 798 3000 x 4422 Fax: 866.230.5843 Mail: e.v...@quadrantfour.com URL:www.quadrantfour.com * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
