*Job Title: Data Architect* *Location: Schaumburg, IL* *Contract Duration: long term contract* *JOB DESCRIPTION:* 1. A candidate with at least a Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience in Data Modelling, design and development for Oracle BI Suites or other Data warehouse technologies 2. At least 8 years of experience in Hands on experience in Data Architecture implementation, Data Modelling, Data Governance and standards 3. At least 8 years of experience in Hands on experience design and development in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or any ETL tools 4. At least 5 years of experience in depth understanding on UNIX/ LINUX, DAC, Informatica (optional), ETL architecture and OBIEE pre build data models 5. Preferred experience on at least one Big Data implementation 6. Critical thinking, problem solving skills capable to drive execution, management of SLA commitments and exceptional team results. 7. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, confidence and ability to interact in a highly matrix environment. 8. Strong proactive client management systems and technology deliveries and influencing at the senior-most levels in the organization. 9. Ability to manage and resolve roadblocks to allow team progress. 10. Ability to lead technical teams 11. Project Management and planning skills 12. Ability to use MS Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel 13. Capability to work on multiple project environments to drive the overall customer strategy to delivery. Performance focused, including analysis, typical issues including data integration challenges/solutions and high level knowledge of dimensional analysis / design concepts 14. Ability to work across the technology silos to formulate high level designs with project team, assist team to diagnose issues and perform trade-off analysis 15.
