Provide all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever
possible, and leading by example
Facilitate all scrum ceremonies (Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Backlog
refinement, Daily Standups, Sprint Retrospective)
Mentor Product Owners on INVEST principles of User Story Writing
Support and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming
and maintaining the product backlog
Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum
practices/principles
Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coach the team
to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable
for the team and organization (Shu Ha Ri)
Guide the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in
the Agile/Scrum frameworks
Remove  impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the
right personnel to remove the impediment.
Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without
fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing
and problem solving
Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency,
and radiating information
Reconcile FTE and contractor invoices

Required Skills
Scrum Master certificate
3+ years’ experience being a Scrum Master for a software development team
that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory
Knowledge of Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling
bugs
Ability to multi-task effectively across several projects and assignments
Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational
awareness, empowerment, and increasing transparency
Passion for continual process improvement
 Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or
dictating the work.
 Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution

Desired Skills
Experience with Rally
Experience with Safe
Continuous Attention to Technical excellence through knowledge of other
Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc
Previous experience as a team lead
Excellent communication and mentoring skill
