*Role : IT Configuration Management Analyst*

*Location: Orlando, FL*

*Duration: 6 Months*



*Summary Description:*



This position of *IT Configuration Management Analyst* will be responsible
for configuration and deployment of enterprise applications as well as the
development of tools to automate configuration management processes. The
position will be responsible for creation, implementation, maintenance, and
documentation of all tools created to support the configuration management
process as well as contribute to the development and execution of CM
processes and standards. *Strong configuration management skills and
development experience in a Windows and UNIX environment are essential*.
This person should have experience within a structured CM IT environment.
A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues to ensure system
stability and maximize productivity is highly preferred. This position
requires day and evening work hours and reports to the IT Director, Quality
Management Office.



*Responsibilities:*

·         Manage deployments to and configurations of pre-production
environments.

·         Manage the daily builds and releases for multiple project groups
while constantly looking for new ways to exploit opportunities for
automation, simplification, and smart use of tools.

·         Functions as subject matter expert in configuration management.

·         Lead the team that manages the entire build/release process,
working closely with QA, Program Management, Development and Technical
Operations teams.

·         Work with developers and stakeholders to deliver software through
the configuration, build and deployment system

·         Help develop and enforce standards and processes for change and
configuration management.

·         Work with development teams to ensure successful product build
and delivery

·         Facilitate source code management best practices among diverse
product teams

·         Participate in and lead CM architectural discussions with
engineering leads

·         Maintain and evolve build environment to deliver new and changing
products

·         Work to scale build environment

·         Assemble and maintain continuous integration CM system

*Essential Job Functions**: *

·         Experience with build tools, build systems, and configuration
management best practices in large multi-team, multi-technology
organizations.

·         Develops, audits, monitors and enforces established
configuration/release management processes and policies in support of
cross-domain configuration integration, testing, completeness and
consistency.

·         Provides support to domain-specific build/release management
resources in a timely and efficient manner.

·         Coordinates build/release program activities and functions as a
subject matter expert in build/release management.

·         Acts as the gatekeeper to the defined environments, ensuring
consistency in policies and operational procedures, release integration
testing and production validation.

·         Operates at an advisory level, consistently interacting with IT
and line-of-business management.

·         Creates and tracks the build/release improvement process to be
applied across all IT domains and initiates new projects related to
build/release management.



*Requirements:*

·         Bachelor's degree in computer science, management, IT or related
field.

·         A minimum ten years of technology experience.

·         *A minimum of five years of experience in configuration/release
management of a technology platform.*

·         Proficiency in configuration management processes and tools in IT
environment.

·         Proficiency in creating detailed implementation plans.

·         *Proficiency in using tools including; AntHill Proc, Interwoven
OpenDeploy, WebSphere, ClearCase, TFS & Informatica*

·         Proficiency in technologies such as Java, Web, ETL, .NET

·         *Bash or Korn shell scripting experience*

·         Proficiency in IT operations and support organizations

·         Proficiency in other process frameworks and methodologies is a
plus

·         Strong problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills.

·         Ability to build and manage relationships effectively in a matrix
environment.

·         Ability to use sound judgment, communicate effectively - orally
and in writing.

·         Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes
planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details.
