Send me profiles : ar...@vedicsoft.com *Role : Unix Systems Administrator * *Location: Phoenix, AZ* *Duration: 6+ Months* *IN-PERSON INTERVIEW** / LOCAL * Job Description : ****Candidates must have strong RedHat Linux experience.* - Install and configure operating systems and software, apply patches, manage file systems, monitor performance and troubleshoot alerts. - Work with project teams to build out new application environments while maintaining security and system standards. - Incident management - System failure analysis and recovery; insuring system consistency and integrity. - Problem management - Ability to analyze problems, determine root cause, propose solutions, and drive issues to resolution. - Proficient knowledge and practice of Unix Shell scripting or Perl. - Ability to deal with changing priorities and handle multiple projects. - Participation in oncall rotation in a 24x7 data center environment. - *In-depth knowledge of RedHat Linux (AS 5 & 6).* - Experience configuring and managing Linux on VMware guests a must. - Experience with Redhat Satellite and Kickstart a plus. - Experience supporting applications such as Apache and Weblogic a plus. - *Experience working with Dell hardware including but not limited to M1000e blade chassis desired.* - *Minimum of 5yrs professional experience in a large to mid-sized data center environment* - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. - Strong troubleshooting skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Candidate must be highly motivated. *HAPPY HOLIDAY's* Best Regards, *Arjun Kanakoti * *VEDICSOFT* | *Business Intelligence.
