Here is the JD: Position: Technical Lawson Consultant Location: Costa Mesa CA. Duration:12+Months Job description: Primary Responsibilities include: Work with other team members to support the upgrade of the company's Infor Lawson implementation from v9 to v10. Retrofit current customizations to the v10 implementation. Develop and estimate solutions using defined user requirements, working with the customer to clarify and further define requirements as needed. Work with and mentor other team members in the listed technologies. Required Skills: At least 8+ years of experience working with Infor Lawson System Foundation (LSF), Lawson HCM, and Lawson development. Lawson v9 experience mandatory, v10 a plus. Minimum of 5 years core Lawson Development (4GL, Lawson Environment Utilities, Security, LAUA, LSF9), required. Minimum of 5 years SQL experience with reporting tools (Crystal, SQL Reporting Services), required. 5+ years of Lawson Systems Analysis / Development Expert knowledge of Micro Focus 4GL – COBOL programming Experience with UNIX shell scripting and Windows scripting (batch, PowerShell, etc). FTP scripting required using WS-FTP. Experience with Infor Lawson Process Flow is a plus; Knowledge of Lawson's Process Flow tool set in a large scale Windows environment Experience with writing SQL queries, TSQL, and PL/SQL. Experience with Infor Lawson utilities such as qcompile, dbdef, jobschd, etc. Experience with Lawson Portal. Experience with Infor OLEDB Object Services Query Builder Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems with strong debugging skills Ability to complete tasks or project assignments with minimal supervision. Ability to estimate development effort based on documented business requirements. Ability to clearly communicate design decisions and tradeoffs. Ability to speak and write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles. Ability to quickly learn and practically apply new concepts or principles. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment. Experience with Windows Server 2012 and SQL Server 2012 platform with knowledge of overall Lawson architecture. Fundaental understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory & networktechnologies Excellent understanding of Lawson application architecture and core logic, including Lawson System Foundation, Process Flow, and HCM System modules Adhere to MAR policies and guidelines regarding safe coding practices Preferred Skills: Experience with upgrading Infor Lawson v9 to v10. Experience with Windows SQL Server platform or platform change experience from UNIX/Oracle to Windows/SQL Server for Lawson ERP. Experience with Lawson HCM system and Lawson HR/Payroll interfaces Experience with Infor Ming.le Experience with Lawson and/or Landmark security. Experience with Windows O/S, security and Windows scripting. Experience with Agile software development methodologies. Experience with TFS for source code management. Experience with Control-M for job scheduling. Experience with Kronos and BSI Tax Factory is a plus. Experience with Lawson/Infor Support strongly preferred.
