*QA Automation Engineer * *Downtown NY* *FS client* *6 month project* *Telephonic and In person for locals* Candidate will use the “GWE QA Automation Framework”, to create automated test scripts with the goals of 1. reduce customer observed failures in Marquee applications 2. reduce the latency needed to certify releases 3. reduce manual effort needed to certify releases 4. educate and increase internal capability for writing QA automation skills 5. elicit testing requirements from application owners Required skills 1. Fluency in Selenium and general web development (HTML, CSS) 2. JIRA or other issue tracking systems 3. VCS (svn or git) 4. Fluency in JavaScript, or fluent in Ruby/Python and willing and able to learn JS 5.
