Individual should have at least 5 years of application development experience in desktop applications (WinForms). The project will involve supporting in-house, proprietary desktop applications, which were originally developed in VB.Net/ WinForms and new applications being built in C#/ Entity Framework. Individual will be making enhancements to the existing application system including adding modules (new development) bug fixes and maintenance programming. Individual should also have 5 years of experience developing on the .NET Framework, including VB.NET, C# & Windows Forms and have a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Concepts (classes, components, objects and interfaces). Individual will be tasked with modifying and changing the code through the support of trouble tickets received from users and the QA team. Individual should have knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (i.e., Agile, waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development). Individual must have strong verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors).
