*Position:- Accessibility consultant* *Location: Newark - NJ* *Role& Skills: * • Extensive knowledge and experience with WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards and guidelines • Experience with accessibility audit and quality assurance tools and processes • Knowledge of disability law including but not limited to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) • Knowledge and experience with assistive technologies such as JAWS and NVDA • Knowledge and experience with web technologies including HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Web content management systems • Strong organizational and project management skills • Effective written and oral communication skills • Demonstrated ability to effectively and independently lead projects to completion Perform and/or coordinate accessibility audits of prototypes, websites, and mobile apps • Create accessibility reports and presentations as needed • Work in collaboration with internal and external teams to identify strategies and implement accessibility solutions • Establish guidelines, best practices and standards related to designing and maintaining accessible websites, mobile apps, and online materials • Manage trade-off between Accessibility Compliance and Usability • Recommend process changes to integrate accessibility at organizational level • Apply accessible design principles to the web development process; • Develop and/or coordinate accessibility training for web designers, developers and content providers • Train associates on using accessibility monitoring software and tools • Develop training materials and implement training on accessibility standards to a wide variety of audiences • Work with colleagues to develop accessible templates and tools for web and mobile production • Provide information and best practices regarding captioning public facing videos • Identify, implement and oversee tools for monitoring website accessibility *Vikas Malik* *----------------------------------------------------------------------* Next Level Business Services, Inc.
