Advance knowledge and experience with Nova, Neutron, Swift, Cinder, Keystone, Horizon, and Glance. 5+ years of experience scripting in one or more of the following: Python, Perl, Shell, or Java 5+ years advanced-level experience with Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu) Advance knowledge of hypervisors and virtual machines; bare-metal and hosted. Hands on experience using KVM and ESXi HA hypervisor architectures. Capacity for learning new technologies and skills rapidly is key Experience with configuration managers such Chef, Salt, Puppet Contribute to installation, migration, updates and integration of OpenStack services and modules Hands-on experience of real world OpenStack deployments Proficient with network routing and protocols, firewalls, and DNS. Proficient at bash scripting, sed and awk Experience with monitoring solutions such as Nagios, Spirent, Ixia Familiar with Software Defined Networking - e.g. Open vSwitch, Juniper Contrails (Desirable) Familiar with Software Defined Storage - e.g. Ceph, Cinder, Swift (Desirable) Problem solving skills specifically root cause analysis Strong interpersonal skills, able to deal effectively with people at all levels Strong written and verbal communication skills.
