Provide technical expertise regarding tools and processes for test automation. Plan, design, create and execute automated test suites and performance tests for multiple applications with minimum oversight. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: § Collaborate with QM Analysts to plan, develop and maintain automation regressions and performance test suites § Provide estimates for automation tasks § Execute automated functional and regression testing § Design framework and approach for automated test processes § Assist and support QM analysts in understanding technical aspects of the supported applications § Provide thorough and on-going evaluation of testing tools and assist with their design and implementation § Work with multiple application development, architecture and network teams, identifies, diagnoses, and reports on application performance issues § Provide engineering support for testing approach design and tools on projects of peers and junior associates § Perform the setup, upgrade, testing and administration of tools used by the testing team § Develop performance test estimates, strategy, scripting, test schedules; execute test plans § Design and develop robust test automation solutions for the DataPower appliance § Create rich and extensive test plans for services being on-boarded to the DataPower appliance § Collaborate with QMAs and QMEs representing the consumers to implement effective test strategies § Provide advanced expertise in designing, coding, and enhancing performance test automation § Lead estimation process and status reporting for complex performance testing projects/efforts § In collaboration with QM teams and other project members, create and design performance test strategies and approaches for complex applications and development projects § Provide technical expertise regarding tools and processes for performance test automation § Collaborate with Architects, developers and QM Analysts to plan, develop Performance Test Plan, Test Strategy and Load Profile § Debug the scripts and troubleshoot performance issues with the application § Execute automated performance, functional and regression testing with emphasis on performance testing § Identify performance Bottlenecks and assist development team with resolution § Monitor Performance test, analyze the performance test results and communicate findings to project team § Create rich performance test results reports QUALIFICATIONS: § Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS/Engineering/Technology a related field or equivalent experience and or training. § 8 years of experience with QA and/or application development § 6+ years of experience with test automation of applications § Intermediate knowledge/experience applying automation techniques and tools (TFS or HP Mercury) § Experience in adapting/building an automated testing framework based on re-usable components § Experience creating, enhancing and/or implementing guidelines and best practices for test automation development § Exposure to testing tools such as Microsoft CodedUI, SoapUI, HP Performance Center, HP Quick Test Pro § Experience testing SOA and Web Services. § Experience with IBM DataPower Appliance or similar tooling - a plus. § Experience or good knowledge of programming and scripting languages.(MS Visual Basic, ASP .NET, Java Script, C++, C#, XML, WSDL, BizTalk) § Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL7, Oracle) § Experienced in Windows XP/7 and UNIX environments § Exposure to MQ Series and WCS § Ability to work in a collaborative environment using source control and other development toolsets § Excellent prioritization, time management/multi-tasking skills § Full SDLC experience; Agile experience preferred § Flexibility and adaptable to changing environments § Good written and verbal communication skills, team player § Airline experience – a plus § Experience identifying performance bottlenecks and working with developers/architects to tune applications § Strong knowledge or performance test concepts and strategies § Skilled in various performance test types (load, stress, soak, etc) § Experience with monitoring tools such as perfmon, sitescope, netmon, etc. § Administration of Performance Center or Quality Center a plus § Creating custom web requests in Vugen § Experience with Oracle NCA, WebServices protocols § Experience with SOAP UI, LoadUI or JMeter Regards, Ankit Kumar Sagwal Technical Recruiter *1851 McCarthy Boulevard, Suite 116, Milpitas, CA , USA, 95035* Phone : 408-457-9399 Ext-2012 Email : *ankit.ku...@idctechnologies.com <prash...@idctechnologies.com>* URL : *www.idctechnologies.com <http://www.idctechnologies.com/>* GTalk: ankit121.rgtalent | Ymgr: ankit_sagwal -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
