*Required Skills :*
- Advanced Teradata lead
- Hands on experience in performance tuning of Teradata EDW production
environments,
- Good proficiency with writing and analyzing SQL queries
- Work with application implementation teams to design and implement
best practices for SQL
- Add statistics or indexes to improve query performance without
degrading ETL process
- Experience with priority scheduler design to minimize impact of
mixed workloads on same
- Experience with Teradata Viewpoint to monitor Teradata performance
- Help define application performance baselines on Teradata, identify
and implement tuning
- Prior experience in a Teradata Database Administrator role desirable
- Teradata certification desirable
- Has experience in leading teams in both Dev and Support projects
- Should have sound knowledge of Ops support processes like Incident
Management, Problem Management etc., preferably ITIL
- Good Communication and Stakeholder management skills
- Experience in managing changes across all of SDLC phases, including
planning and estimation especially tuning large and complex SQLs code,
object creation, minimizing data skew, PPI selection host recommendations
to help improve performance and scalability
