Location: Jersey city NJ Duration: Long term Team is looking for a mid to sr level Data Analyst/BA. Candidate must have 2 plus year experience with Financial Services Tech Org(preferably Prime Brokerage or Asset Management.) Candidate must have a strong background in performing Data Analysis, Flows, and Data Process for the preparation of detailed functional requirements. The main projects the candidate will be working on are centered around improving our Prime Brokerage internal and external reporting capabilities. Candidate should also have experience facilitating QA and UAT testing. Must be able to communicate with all levels of business to update stakeholders on project status and timelines. Must have a technical experience as well, specifically a working knowledge of database technologies. The Service Delivery Management (SDM) group is responsible for delivery of coherent “end to end" solutions to the Prime Services business. Because of this remit, the group is heavily involved in the more complex projects and programs that the Prime Services organization runs as these have the most impact on end to end business processes and usually carry significant delivery risk. The Service Delivery Management group works very closely with the Prime Services Product Management teams in helping to formulate and execute the global business strategy. The group consists of staff with a mixture of business and data analysis, project management, program management and testing skills. *Main Function* The Data Analyst role in the Prime Broker SDM organization is a hands on role which requires detailed analysis of a broad spectrum of data that drives our prime brokerage business. The Data Analyst will need to perform a mixture of data and business analysis and test preparation and execution for initiatives aimed at improving the quality, consistency, and timeliness of our data and the associated processes that use it. There will be a particular focus on the data used in both internal and client reporting, such position, balance, activity, margin, interest and billing, and stock loan reporting The role will require the ability to compile and clearly articulate requirements, both verbally and via written documentation.
