Must have experience supporting Indirect Tax, Sales and Use Tax Modules and will be expected to maintain and support multiple applications. Expected to closely work with clients and vendors to perform analysis, design, test, system upgrades, package implementations and enhancements, following company standards and internal controls and processes. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and multitask to accomplish goals. * * 7+ years of experience in IT with application support, deployment and Integration. Out of which 4+ years in Tax domain, Sales and Use Tax and Vertex O Series would be desirable.* * * * *Skills* * * *Tech/Functional Skills:* * * · Strong Vertex functional & technical experience · Tax functional competency · In-Depth understanding on how Vertex operates and Sales & Tax space as well as Order to Cash and\or Purchase to Pay concepts · Thorough understanding of Vertex Central and its components - My Enterprise, tax Setup, Tools & Reporting · Good knowledge/working experience on Vertex Web Services, Vertex Databases, · Experience with Batch Client Interface (BCI) interface tools, OIC (Oracle Integration Component), RTE (Retail Tax Extract), Web Services Live Call (XML), Windows Services for Vertex application · Packaged system implementations with n-tier architecture (ex.
