If you have any questions please feel free to either call me or send me an email. *Position: VDI Applications Engineer* *Location: Dallas, TX* *Duration: Contract* *Job Summary*: VMware VDI Applications Engineering and MCSE expertise is need for the Customers Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) operations Team. *Job Responsibilities: * · Provide Application installation and troubleshooting of VMware suite of products, such as provisioning server, desktop delivery control, managing certificates, virtual desktop images/target devices. VmView experience is a plus. · Provide extensive troubleshooting in installation and configuration of Windows Operating Systems; Disk Configuration and Installation and Configuration of DNS and Active Directory; Systems Policy and Group Policy; Systems Back-up and Recovery; Windows Performance Tuning and Windows Server troubleshooting. · Responsible for implementation of Desktop GPOs in all domains throughout · Develop and maintain O&S Standard Operating Procedures for VDI Environment · Evaluates hardware and software, including peripheral, output, and related equipment. · Participates in the development and implementation of VDI-related operational procedures and standards · Interfaces with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance. · Maintains current knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications as assigned. · Participates in special projects as required. · Provide advice and training to VDI operations which is responsible for: · The analysis, administration and support of Desktops, Thin Clients · The diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with PCs, software, communications devices · Responding to End User requests for technical support and assistance within established procedures. · Providing support and assistance to System Administrator(s), Network Engineer(s) and Telecommunications Systems staff in the delivery of End User support and Systems Maintenance · Assist in ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures · Responding to escalated requests for technical assistance * Job Qualifications: * · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience. · 5-8 years of related systems engineering experience. *Thanks & Regards* * Yogi Talent Acquisition | Profile500 Corp | y...@profile500.com <y...@profile500.com> | 847-305-3768 Specialization in networking & IT Infrastructure * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
