We anticipate but never guarantee that this will last about 4 months. · As part of the Information Technology Department at NRECA, the NRECA Employee Benefits (NEB) Application team is responsible for the web portal that supports the Insurance and Financial Services (I&FS) department business initiatives. Demand for additional online functionality, which increases automation, reduces paper processing and reduces print/mailing costs, continues to grow year after year. · The SQL DBA team is currently seeking an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator (production DBA) to augment our existing team of 2 DBAs. *The responsibilities of the DBA we seek are as follows:* · Performing database backups and restores from Avamar · Completing database access requests · Documenting processes · Troubleshooting database related issues · Collaborate with the DBA team on complex database related issues · Install SQL Server 2008 R2 and SQL Server 2012 *Position : Silverlight Developer * *Location : Arlington, VA* *Duration:4+ Months * · Total IT exp. with 10-12+ Years. · Five (5)+ years of hands-on experience and track record of successful projects with *Silverlight*. · Experience with programming/scripting language/tools required (as appropriate: JavaScript; HTML; XML; C#; ASP.NET; Extraction Transformation & Loading (ETL) and Business Intelligence Tools; MS SharePoint, Content Management Server, BizTalk). · Strong knowledge of relational database design and development using MS SQ: Server or other comparable RDBMS. · Experience in object oriented programming and agile development. · Be able to adhere to the project plan and project schedule. · Effective communicator. · Team player who can work in a highly cooperative organization. *Silverlight Developer shall be able to perform the following duties and responsibilities:* · Consult with business partners to develop technical solutions to business problems and/or opportunities which provide more streamlined process. · Participate in code reviews to ensure applications and processes support existing architecture, follow defined guidelines and coding standards and meet user requirements. · Perform automated unit testing methodologies and tools such as NUnit.
