*Position: **.NET ARCHITECT * *Location: SAINT LOUIS, MO* *Duration: 3+ Months (3 to 6 Months)* *Experience: 9+ YEARS* *JOB DESCRIPTION:* .Net Migration (Mandatory) ASP.NET (Mandatory) VB.NET You are responsible for providing technical leadership to small size/complexity/order-value projects. You are expected have depth of knowledge of specified technological area, which includes knowledge of applicable processes, methodologies, standards, products and frameworks. You would be responsible for defining and documenting architecture, capturing and documenting non-functional (architectural) requirements, preparing estimates and defining technical solutions to proposals (RFPs). You should provide technical leadership to project team to perform design to deployment related activities, provide guidance, perform reviews, prevent and resolve technical issues. Minimum work experience: 8 - 10 Years *TECHNICAL SKILLS:* *.Net Migration:* · Knowledge of Migration Methodologies Knowledge in Estimation Techniques and Awareness Effort estimation Awareness of Design Patterns/MethodologiesImeplentation · Exception handling / logging mechanisms Implementation of basic security features provided by .Net framework · Hands on knowledge Web Services, Window service and remoting. · Specialization on minimum 3 migration tools and awareness of other tools. · Module Design and Review of LLD and code of at least2 projects · Awareness and ideas on improving In House Migration AccelatorsMigration and resolving issues related to the same. *Technical Architecture:* · Ability to lead the architecture team in arriving at technical solutions for complex applications. · Should be able to influence the customer in decision-making. · Good understanding of product implementation life cycle.
