*Position:- Java Application Developer(**GC/Citizen)* *Position Type:- Contract to hire* *Location:- EDEN PRAIRIE, MN * *GC/Citizen only.* *Required Qualifications:* *Java Application Developer* *Primary Responsibilities:* • Develop web applications, and perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code development and testing • Communicate effectively with other engineers and QA • Provide technical support and consultation for Java application and infrastructure questions • Provide estimates for software development efforts • Create User Stories and Tasks using Rally (tracking software used by Optum Technology teams) • Participate in an Agile / Scrum methodology to deliver high - quality software releases every 2 weeks through Sprints • Work on large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives • Develop Java Restful APIs and develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business *Required Qualifications:* • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience • 5+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle experience • 5+ years of experience working as a J2EE developer • 5+ years of experience developing applications using databases such as Oracle or SQL Server • Hands-on experience with Spring, Eclipse, Hibernate, and JUnit • Experience designing applications for scalability and high concurrent performance • 3+ years of experience working with java API development and Web Service. • Experience with Test - Driven Development • Experience delivering web - based technology solutions to meet business needs • Good communication and collaboration skills *Preferred Qualifications:* • Health care industry experience • Experience with Javascript, JQuery, JMS, JSP, Angular,CSS • Experience with Unix/Linux • Experience working with GIT and Jenkins build tools in order to structure releases • Experience with Restful design principles and working experience with REST / JSON interfaces • Experience developing public-facing websites • Experience with mock data frameworks for unit testing • Application Server experience with JBoss or Tomcat • Experience for OSE platform *Thanks* *navneet* *Sr. Recruiter/Account manager* Phone#-3127675607 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
