Client Facing Technology (CFT) is responsible for globally supporting and
facilitating Barclays Capital’s clients’ trading strategies. Our clients
are typically hedge funds or similar organizations responsible for product
discovery. They require a significant degree of customization, have high
expectations, and demand very rapid turnaround. The key to success is
ensuring our applications form an integrated gateway to the capabilities of
the entire firm. This means not only joining forces and sharing data with
each other, but building the bridge between Prime Services and the firm’s
risk, regulatory, accounting and centralized data services

Why apply? CFT is a global team responsible for building and delivering
trade management, Client Relationship Management (CRM), Management
Information System (MIS) and productivity tools for clients, salespeople
and bankers. Our tools are used by thousands of client-facing staff in the
front and middle office across all products. The diversity of our user base
presents us with unique challenges as we tailor solutions that are both
specific to our business users and are reusable by others.

The BARX Client Services group (CSG) is responsible for the service and
support of all of Barclays Capital electronic trading clients. This
includes trade support, IT Support, Connectivity and Onboarding across all
the major asset classes.

The FIX Connectivity team specifically focuses on the integration of FIX
clients. This involves managing the Onboarding process of electronic
trading applications to Barclays Capital trading systems; testing and
certifying new client connections; provisioning connectivity and vendor
access and providing third line support on any FIX related issues to the
relevant business/application support teams.

The team is located in New York, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore,
