Automation and  Orchestration related activities with emphasis on
technology and implementation/build related activities

· Develop deliverables and artifacts, synthesize and develop
documentation, design and develop solution, assist with quality assurance

· Provide hands-on development in Puppet, Linux, Jenkins, and other
CI/CD tools

Automation Engineer

Location: Denver, CO

Duration: 6 months+

Rate: 45/hour on C2C



Job Details

· Verify, validate, and regression test software for features
including: Linux networking, wireless telecommunications protocols
including data communications, PBX switching systems, and device’s
graphical user interface;

· Create test plans, test scripts and test cases for product
validation and bug fixes based on system requirements;

· Review, update, and execute existing automated regression tests
and analyze results.

· Identify opportunities to introduce and implement test automation;

· Identify and effectively troubleshoot software/network problems
and implement appropriate corrections;

· Occasional travel will be involved.



Required Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or
Engineering

· 5 + years of Software, Firmware, and/or System testing
experience, including test planning, integration testing and system level
testing (test cases, test environments, resources, and schedule).

· Fluency in at least one high-level, object-oriented,
general-purpose programming language. Python and JavaScript.

· Fluency in Unix shell scripting and development in Linux
operating system environment.

· TCP/IP network administration skills on a Linux platform.

· Strong QA experience, particularly in automation scripting

· Experience with automated test software such as: Selenium,
Sikuli, PyTest…etc.

· Cross platform testing across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

· Understanding of Continuous Deployment and Continuous
Integration; experience with Jenkins a plus.

· Industry Fluency in at least one high-level, object-oriented,
general-purpose programming language. Python preferred

· Fluency in UNIX shell scripting and development in Linux
operating system environment.

· TCP/IP network administration skills on a Linux platform.
