   - The Business Analyst applies analytical skills to determine and
   document accurate business requirements.
   - The BA must have the ability to present these requirements in a manner
   that is concise, measurable and flexible enough to meet project and
   stakeholder needs.
   - The BA serves as a liaison at a project level through which
   requirements flow between the internal customer community, IT development
   teams, and end customers.
   - Must be able to work with application and project teams to gather,
   analyze, communicate and validate the requirements for enhancements to
   applications, both internally developed and purchased software systems.
   - May serve as a liaison between the various stakeholders groups to
   ensure requirements are fully defined according to Software Development
   Lifecycle and project management processes. Other qualifications include
   experience with writing and analyzing requirement specifications.
   - Exposure to and an understanding of application development
   methodologies and the development lifecycle.
   - Experience with requirements management tools and issue tracking tools

   - Must possess analytical skills, excellent documentation skills, an
   ability to interact with people at all levels and possesses skills in
   coping with ambiguous situations. Supports the development of deliverables,
   which include the standards and documentation control, performance and
   compliance metrics, and audit tracking.
   - Strong communication, facilitation, mentoring, consulting, meeting
   management, multi-tasking, organization, and prioritization skills.
   - Bachelor's degree and 8+ years’ experience business analysis, business
   administration, engineering, information science, health or science related
   field.

Role and Responsibilities As a system requirement analyst, this individual
will work closely with GEAR (Gilead Enterprise Architecture Repository)
team to capture the system enhancement requirements, analyze and detail out
the requirements, prepare test cases, and verify the delivered solution
against requirements. This individual will have detail oriented and
analytical skills. To under the technology and solution used in GEAR (based
on MEGA Hopex), the invidual will be able to understand data relationships,
