*Position: Drupal Developer* *Location:Arlington VA *
*Duration:12+months* *RESPONSIBILITIES:* - Provide Drupal development, programming, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, patching, and overall support for custom Drupal 6 and 7 applications. - Meet with stakeholders, collect and analyze requirements, and build Drupal functionality to meet those requirements. - Use Drupal core and contributed modules to build and enhance content types, layouts, and overall infrastructure for custom sites and applications. - Provide custom PHP, MySQL, CSS, and JavaScript programming, when appropriate, to enhance functionality of custom Drupal and legacy PHP sites and applications. - Work with team using agile development methods. - Collaborate on solutions using Git, git-flow, Drupal Features, install profiles, regular verbal and written communications, and Wrike project management software. - Contribute to organizing, moderating, and maintaining production sites' information architecture (taxonomy). - Participate in planning and running one-on-one and large-group content manager trainings with subject matter experts and other customers around the Department. - Provide ongoing support to end users, content managers, and site administrators, including authoring a variety of documentation resources. - Regularly test custom applications for mobile and desktop browser compatibility, Section 508 compliance, and general usability (for site consumers and managers). - Recommend and/or implement security enhancements as needed. - Other duties as required. *REQUIREMENTS:* - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff and management. - Excellent customer service skills. - Ability to work collaboratively and independently -- a team player and a self-starter. - Interest in learning unfamiliar technologies and concepts, and willingness to mentor and share knowledge with other developers. - At least 3 years experience building Drupal sites, and an established user account on Drupal.org <http://drupal.org/>. - Passion for Drupal and open-source community involvement. - Strong PHP (Object Oriented, 5.5+) and MySQL programming skills. - Experience using version control systems (preferably Git), and Drupal development technologies including Drush and Features. - Experience with Drupal-adjacent technologies such as LAMP stacks, nginx, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. - Experience configuring servers for development and production. - Ability to multitask and manage priorities. - Strong analytical skills (i.e., technical and non-technical problem solving skills). - *Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder (with living in the US for 3 years)* -- *--Thanks & Regards,Vikas Kumar SinghPh: 408-722-9100 Ext: 112Email: vi...@svsintegration.com <vi...@svsintegration.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
