*Title: IT - Security Consultant (Palo Alto Firewall)*

*Location: Plymouth, MN *

*Duration would be 6 months. *

*What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be
detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily
basis) *• Support and collaborate with Acquired Entities Integration and
Business teams on solutions and deployment of company standard security
technologies and access controls
• Build, design, test, and deploy *Palo Alto firewalls* including upgrades,
policies, DMZ, audits, connectivity, etc.
• Work with Security SME, software/hardware technology, architectures and
Business teams concerning infrastructure operations, support, access and
maintenance of the Acquired Entities including perimeter security

• Perform risk assessment, recommendation, analysis, expertise on company
and industry security standards and perimeter security

• Provide input to problem and change management process support including
assessing and evaluating software and hardware anomalies as it relates to
the integration of the Acquired Entity related to security. Support the
root cause analysis efforts to determine problems and develop remediation
activities. Interface with the vendor or Business support service groups to
ensure proper support during outages or periods of degraded system or
connectivity performance.

• Attend weekly teleconferences, onsite meetings, and participate in
working groups, as related to Acquired Entity projects and security
environment initiatives.



*What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily
responsibilities? *
• Network troubleshooting and analysis using various monitoring tools and
devices

• Palo Alto Firewalls & Panorama Management console

• Firewall logging/monitoring/troubleshooting/analysis


*what skills/attributes are a must have? *
• Proficiency in *Palo Alto Firewall* integration, deployments,
configuration, and support management in department and enterprise
environments

• Networking experience on
*switches, routers, load balancers, VPN concentrators, wireless LAN
controllers *
• Experienced with performing
*root cause analysis, risk identification, and risk mitigation *
• Capable of planning and leading meetings with multiple members from other
technology teams, work independently and on multiple projects as needed

• Experience in Industry *IT Security standards*



*What skills/attributes are nice to have? *• Experience with B2B/VPN
technologies and connectivity is a plus

• Familiarity on other firewall platforms such as Cisco, Checkpoint,
SonicWall, Junipers is a plus

• Experience with Access Control technologies such as 802.1x, DLP,
Anti-Virus, SmartCards, NAC, etc. is a plus

• Familiarity with data and voice networks

• Interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate effectively,
self-awareness, and excellent written and oral communication




*Where is the work to be performed? (Please list preferred UHG facility, if
other please specifies i.e. remote work, rural, etc.) *• Office in
Plymouth, MN
• Telecommuting may be possible part or full time dependent on candidate




*What are the work hours? (ex. 9am-5pm, day/night shifts, rotating shifts,
etc) *• 8hr work days
• Some after hour work during weekdays and weekends are REQUIRED and needed
based on project implementation schedules. Flex time is available to
accommodate this work.
