The candidate should be an expert in all conventional aspects of implementing interface and infrastructure designs, ensuring coherence across applications. The candidate will work closely with the enterprise architecture group and participate in discussions involving new technology / methodology / tool adoption. The candidate will analyze business models and map/integrate components into a unified infrastructure construct using rapid application development (RAD) processes, a wide range of enterprise application software and technologies, business objectives, and system requirements. - Works with business application developers to determine how enterprise infrastructure will optimally meet business needs, while promoting adherence to analysis, design, and development standards and methodologies. Guides teams on application designs and frameworks - Optimizes the technical performance of an infrastructure development environment, including network, database, and application server performance. - Takes a holistic view of the client, application, data, and technology and provides a technical roadmap for the vision. Responsible for maintaining and refining the technology roadmap as necessary. - Represents Annuity IT on the Enterprise Architecture Review board. Understand and communicate the changes pushed down from enterprise. - Develops procedures that ensure infrastructure components are consistent with each other and are executable. - Tracks application Infrastructure usage using the Consumption Model developed at Voya and brings any anomalies to the team’s attention. - Owns Software / Tools used by Annuity IT team. Will be responsible for ensuring adequate licensing, approve maintenance PO’s. - Conducts vendor / software evaluations, generates scorecards, CBA and other artifacts that are required to make a business case.
