Duration – 12+months



Job Description:

Should have 2 implementation experiences with Ariba On-Demand and SAP ECC
integration

Enable the implementation team with proper guidance on design elements for
SAP to Ariba cloud integration

Support client business PTP process by enabling suppliers through Ariba
Network onto the new platform including enabling punch-out catalogs, Ariba
Network subscription catalogs

Support catalog enablement and maintain catalogs on Ariba On-Demand
solutions

Experience managing and executing Ariba Contract Compliance Conversions

Conduct and facilitate testing with suppliers including test scripts
preparation, creation, execution, maintenance

Public Sector Experience – Municipal preferred

Work with business process coordinators to translate business requirements
into efficient system design as needed

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.  Must be able
to properly communicate and document findings, proposals, solutions and
analyses as developed

Detailed job description - Skill Set:

*Duties include but are not limited to:*

v  Responsible for the overall technical implementation of Ariba On Demand
spend management solution (Sourcing and P2P).

v  Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and
analysis.

v  Perform due diligence to gain a thorough understanding of client’s
organization and workflow.

v  Defining the project scope, project plan, time frames and the required
resources.

v  Educate client team on Ariba On Demand features and requirements fitment
into the product

v  Determine client configuration requirements and guide client toward best
practices.

v  Bring in value ads in terms of process improvements and identifying
project risks upfront

v  Coordinate with Systems Integration teams to ensure all client
requirements can be met.

v  Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables
to ensure compliance with current business strategies.

v  Provide strong technical understanding of the product with the ability
to discuss and demonstrate the full platform and how it may be configured
to meet a customer’s business needs.

v  Lead testing activities – build test strategy, test
scenarios/plans/scripts and UAT assistance

v  Support the processes, and procedures that radically reduce customer
implementation cycle time and eliminate opportunities for deployment defects

v  Provides analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes
action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.

v  Work closely with customers as their technical advisor during the
implementation phase

v  Coordinate client super users training

v  Provides coaching/mentoring to others on product as well as project
management principles and techniques.

v  Guide the customer on best practices for long term success.

 *Requirements:*

ü  Bachelor’s/Masters degree

ü  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

ü  Ability to travel when expected

ü  At least 3 years of Ariba On Demand experience and overall 10 years SCM
procurement experience

ü  Have conducted or been part of at least two Ariba On Demand end to end
implementation (Sourcing and P2P)

ü  Client facing presence and experience interacting with multiple levels
within an organization, including executive leadership

ü  Strong technical and analytical aptitude including ability to understand
software configuration and data structures

ü  Possess the skills necessary to enter into a new client and perform an
assessment of the organizational needs

ü  Experience managing projects, Ariba on demand solution design,
configurations and testing, monitoring and reporting progress, and
exceeding client expectations

ü  Identify critical success factors and ensure all are met during
implementation

ü  Ability to understand and document business practices and procedures

ü  Ability to deliver projects successfully under fixed time constraints

ü  Thrive on collaborating with the implementation team as well as internal
and external customers
