Position: Dotnet Consultant Location: Minneapolis Duration: 9+ Months Consultant will be located* Cargill Minneapolis office, yet working Geneva (Switzerland) hours and providing remote support to that location. Standard working hours will be 3:00am – 11:30am. Qualification Required Skills • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering and 5+ years of related experience. • Ability to learn quickly and understand trading business requirements. • Ability to communicate business and technical requirements to both business and technical staff in a remote environment. • Ability to quickly cut through complex issues and chose pragmatic solutions while keeping applications generic and flexible. • Ability to work successfully in a fast paced environment with changing priorities and requirements both as team member and independently. • Ability to understand global business and technical requirements, work with a dispersed team to build consensus and implement efficient solutions. • Experience in maintaining applications • 2+ years of experience deploying solutions using: o .Net Framework (C#), Excel/VBA o DBMS Modeling Architecture, Oracle / PL-SQL. Desired Skills • Experience in dealing with commodity trading and/or financial trading business systems as well as working closely with traders. Position: J2EE Architect (8-10 Yrs) Location: Westlake Village, CA Duration: 6+ Months Job Description: -->J2EE Architecting(L1)-(1) Should be able to appreciate complex business scenarios in respectivedomain like telecom or enterprise or financial solutions and come out withrobust, scalable technology architecture solutions and technically guide theimplementation team throughout the SDLC (2) Should understand variousarchitecture models and application stacking / layering to provide businesswith suitable technology alternatives with in Java / J2EE technologies. (3)Should be able to provide cost effective, open standard, highly secured multi-platform, multi-data source, multi-channel solutions consideringVirtualization, aggregation, automation and simplification principles (4)Should be able to recommend customer with various design and technologyalternatives within Java world like comparison and trade off across variospresentation framework models and persistence framework models ( 5) Should beable to design and architect application for high data volume, large user base,complex transaction business scenarios, high usability and multi-channel dataformat like SWIFT, hand held devices, Web channels etc (6) Should be verycomfortable in architecting and designing application with high performance,RIA and usability design.
