*Position: QA Analyst*

*Location: San Jose, CA*

*Duration: 6+ Months Contract to hire*

*Job description*

We’re an early adopter of and very large-scale user of the AWS public
cloud. Our application infrastructure tilts far toward the “native” end of
the “cloud native” spectrum. We’re an Agile shop with frequent releases and
an increasingly sophisticated automation strategy for build, test, and
release. Our code is JEE considerably interacting with AWS APIs and
multiple AWS services/products including EC2, S3, ElastiCache, RDS,
DynamoDB, Kinesis, Elasticsearch, RMQ, Elastic Beanstalk, OpsWorks, and
others. We write canonical JEE; old-school Enterprise-style services based
on JMS; and bleeding edge RESTful microservices; all interoperating in a
fully resilient, very large-scale cloud infrastructure. We’re picky about
security and HIPAA compliance. We’re proud of our track record of
resiliency: our apps stay online, even when AWS zones go dark.



*WHAT YOU’LL DO:*

· Enhance and maintain automation framework for UI tests using
Selenium WebDriver

· Design and write test scripts for our REST API’s

· Execute automated regression tests and report bugs

· Document and execute test cases for tickets assigned during the
sprint

· Work with the offshore external team to get the test scripts
automated

· Test new features and bugs fixed during each sprint

· Work closely with the development team to improve testability in
our product

· Help with peer reviews for test cases/test scripts



*Desired Skills and Experience*

· 7+ years experience with web/mobile software product testing,
creating test plans, executing test cases, and test automation

· Healthy analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to
detail

· Experience with agile technologies and continuous integration
tools such as Jenkins preferred

· Experience using Selenium webdriver (or RC) or similar automation
tool

· Experience working with test management tools like TestLink is
preferred

· Experience automating restful apis a plus

· Experience with performance testing is a plus

· Ability to deliver in a fast paced environment

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and
experience
