Please find the below Job description and let me know your interest. *Position: Network Engineer* *Location: North, NC* *Duration: 6+** Months Contract * *Need Locals Only* *Knowledge and Skills* · Expert knowledge of LAN/WAN systems, networks and applications. · Advanced knowledge of a variety of test equipment such as datascopes, sniffers, etc. · Extensive experience with T-1 circuits, CSUs,digital circuits, DSUs, VPNs and dialup modems. · Advanced knowledge of IP addressing and subnetting. · Advanced knowledge and experience of routers, switches and firewall. · Advanced experience of a variety of protocol standards such as IP, SDLC, switching, routings and VPNs. · Demonstrated experience in current Internet network hardware and software technologies (TCP/IP Cisco Systems Routers and Switches, MS/Windows or Windows 2000, DHCP, DNS). · Knowledge of Operating Systems such as Windows, Unix (AIX, Sun OS, Linux) and/or OS/2. · Knowledge of load balancing and CSS. *Experience:* · Minimum 5-8 years of related network experience. · Diagnostic experience with a variety of protocol standards *Education and Certifications* · BS Engineering or equivalent technical experience · Cisco certifications such as CCNA and CCNP preferred.
