1.*Job title: Mobile Developer* Location: Valencia, CA Duration: 12 months Primary Function Design and develop mobile application software systems for controlling implantable neural stimulators and the tools and systems necessary for development, deployment, and management of such software systems. Specify, design, analyze, simulate, prototype, document, code, test and release to manufacturing the aforementioned software. Duties and Responsibilities Assist in formation of a new team and then lead that team of software engineers to build next generation technology. Assist in the creation of a technology roadmap by analyzing and selecting mobile application tools for the development of medical devices within a regulated environment. Implement a multi-faceted integrated solution in conjunction with technical peers. Analyze marketing and system requirements to specify software requirements, formulate the requirements into software architecture and detailed designs that enable inherent quality, implement designs using industry best practices and methodologies, and ensure that implementation is of the highest quality with proper design verification. Author the strategy for projects via Software Development Plans that outline deliverables for projects and addresses Development Environment, Coding Standards, Requirements Management, Configuration Management, Issue and Defect tracking process, Build Procedures, Verification and Validation methodologies and Iteration Planning. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is excited about taking on significant challenges and thrives in an environment where continuous learning is required. This candidate is comfortable communicating to technical peers and non-technical stakeholders and can drive decisions at all levels to ensure that projects remain on track. Basic Qualifications: BS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience, MS preferred Good software foundational skills: CS theory, clean, well-documented code, collaborative style, solid algorithms understanding, mastery of more than one language.
