Job Title: Release Manager location: New York City,NY Duration: 3-6 Months Contract //////// Need Local or Near by Only //////// Job Description: The Job will be part of the initiative (varies by role), work with the team and participate/lead in design and development activities of the project. The candidate should be comfortable in working in an agile environment. The candidate will be responsible for performing standard SDLC activities such as developing a project plan, gathering requirements, coming up with a design and architecture for a proposed solution, and doing some hands-on development. The candidate will also be working with a number of offshore developers and will be responsible for managing and coordinating his or her work stream by assigning tasks and validating outcomes Required Skills: 6+ years experience in working as a release manager. Should have proven experience working as a release manager in an agile environment, performing iterative scrum-based releases. Should have experience in build tools like Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Ant (in that order of importance), version control tools like Stash, Git, SVN (in that order of importance), monitoring and code review tools like Splunk, Crucible, JIRA, etc. Thank you for your time and look forward to work with you.
