*Mandatory Technical Skills *

• Proficient in SQL  Administration

• Expertise in Optimizing Sub-Queries and Joins for complex queries
involving multiple tables, error handling and Exception Handlers used in
Stored Procedures, Views and User Defined Functions.

• Excellent experience in creating Indexes, Indexed Views in observing
Business Rules and creating Effective Functions and appropriate Triggers to
assist in resolving performance issues ,efficient data manipulation and
data consistency.

• Involved in Query Optimization and Performance Tuning using SQL Profiler,
Index Tuning Wizard and stored procedure Debugger.

• Proficient in SSIS data transformation tasks like Look-ups, Fuzzy
Look-ups, Conditional Splits, Aggregate, Derived Column, Event Handlers,
and Error Handlers etc. and extensively used SSIS to load Data Warehouses.

•Analyzing & performance testing of Tabular & Multi Dimension cubes.



*Desirable Technical Skills*

• Visualization skills like SSRS & PowerBI

•  Knowledge on Azure SQL DW and Data Factory

• Troubleshoot various SQL issues.

• System Performance by tuning SQL queries and stored procedures by using
SQL Profiler, Database Engine Tuning Advisor and Windows performance
monitor

•Monitoring the system bottlenecks – CPU, RAM, Disk IO and Networking using
performance counters, alerts.

•Capacity Planning – Analyzed the Database Growth and reported future space
requirements.

•Security Management – Handling Roles, Users, Logins and granting the
Rights.

*Mandatory Functional Skills*

• Database Maintenance Planner for the Performance of SQL Server, which
covers Database Integrity Checks, Update Database Statistics and
Re-indexing.

• Enabling SQL monitoring to capture performance issues.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment

• Excellent technical & analytical skills with strong business acumen

• Previous experience working with Microsoft.

• Passion to drive improvement in the overall customer experience

• Customer focused / user empathy skills

• Experience working within a geographically-dispersed team

• Experience working across multiple groups and teams

• Be self-critical and have an accountable work approach

• A BS degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
