Must have Technical 3-5 skills:

*•             Java Development* experience is a must

*•             Selenium UI automation* / Web Driver experience

Job responsibilities (Day-to-Day):

•             Developing code in Java/groovy and this code will be
triggering Sauce Labs to spinoff the virtual machines to the Stimulated
devices.

Preferred skills:

*•             Appium* experience is a major plus

•             Any experience with groovy is a plus

•             Exposure to Jenkins would be Nice

•             Sauce Labs experience is nice to have but not mandatory

Detailed Job Description:

•             Client is seeking an experienced Software Developer Engineer
in Test with a proven ability to develop comprehensive test-automation to
validate frontend web user-interfaces and backend APIs.

•             The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of testing
within a distributed software system as well as an end-to-end understanding
of common QA tools and practices. We expect the ideal candidate to scope,
design, implement, and maintain tests for new projects, and to work both
independently as well as in collaboration with the development staff in an
agile environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

•             Use Java and/or Groovy to develop, enhance, and maintain
automation tests and framework libraries to verify the functionality and
reliability of our software.

•             Proactively identify new automation
tools/processes/approaches and continuously strive to find ways to improve
the overall testing strategy.

•             Conduct regular code reviews to ensure that object-oriented
design best-practices are followed at all times. Automation code should be
easy to extend and support.

•             Work closely with the QA and development teams to oversee
automated component creation and integration tests using Java and Groovy.

•             Work closely with the Product, QA, and Development teams
during all phases of the software development lifecycle.

•             Help identify gaps in test coverage and develop quality
automation code to fill such gaps.

•             Take pride and ownership over the quality of the product
being shipped.

•             Hands-on experience using modern version control systems like
Git and Subversion.

•             Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools
like Jenkins and Rundeck.

•             Demonstrable skills in writing JUnit or TestNG tests.

•             Familiarity with Linux or UNIX operating systems is a plus.

•             Understanding of Agile Development (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP,
etc).

•             Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

•             Experience providing mentorship to developers and
non-developers.
