Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with 8+ years’ experience in 
software 
development, and a Bachelor's Degree in IT or similar engineering specialty. 
The developer will assist with the design, build, implementation, and support 
of a portfolio of Java-based applications for a large Travel Technology client.

The candidate will be responsible for application development to deliver key 
deliverables:


• Reviews of functional specifications
• Produces technical design, translates requirements into application modules
• Provides design recommendations, writing code and integrating programs
• Producing unit tests and executing the unit testing
• Support of system testing and production implementation
• Application is designed, coded and tested to specified standards
• Utilizing and contributing to application development best practices
• Project deliverables that meet audit/control requirements as well as user 
base
• Manages day-to-day individual workload, identifies / mitigates project risks
• Promotes teamwork in problem resolution

Required Skills:


• Java 6/7/8, Spring, Hibernate, Groovy, Apache Camel, XML Services, Restful 
services, RDBMS, Java Messaging, JavaScript, ExtJS or similar, HTML/CSS
