Job Title: Technical .Net Lead Location: Hartford,CT Duration: 10+ Months Contract //////// Must have Team Lead experience //////// Job Description: A highly skilled senior .Net developer is needed to perform complex .Net programming analysis with a strong background in building scalable, predictable, high-quality and high-performance web applications on the Microsoft technology stack. Duties will include: Independent work on .Net modules Assisting in the development of work plans, schemas, and application models as specified in the functional requirements Assist in the building of the system as needed with .NET 4.0 / ASP.NET / VB.NET / SQL Server 2008 / WCF Web Services / WCF Data Services Consultant will work closely with Client and IT personnel that BEST and Client policies, procedures and standards are adhered to and that there is a successful handoff of the final software product to Client . In addition, one or more Client developers will work with the technical lead to ensure that Client is in a position to support the final software product when the warranty period ends. The Client developers must be meaningfully involved in the project to ensure they have a strong working knowledge of the software architecture and application code. Required Skills: Must be able to excel in a rapidly changing environment while developing, testing and recommending new technologies Strong expert experience in analyzing content areas, developing and problem solving electric content, applying interface design principles into comprehensive solutions. Must have experience performing the duties of a senior developer which includes coordinating and managing development tasks and activities on a project with both internal and external team members. Must have experience in customer relation management (CRM). Must possess expert knowledge of the following: the Visual Studio environment, .Net Frameworks, VB.Net 2003, 2005, 2008 (5 years experience), ASP.Net 2003, 2005, 2008 (4-7 years experience), VBScript, HTML, XML, JavaScript, Web development using .Net assemblies, DB2, SQL Server, XML, SOA Framework. Must possess considerable knowledge in object oriented programming, relational database architecture, MS Project, MS Visio, Change Management, application design processes, system development methodologies (SDMs), Microsoft architecture and programming. The candidate should have significant experience in working with complex interfaces along with and integration strategies and solutions.
