*Job Title: Technical Systems Engineer III (26848 – 1)* *Location: Downingtown, PA* *Duration: 10 months* *Rate:$15 to 20/hr* This Software Engineer/Architect will work with a team of developers, data analysts, and graphic designers to create web-based applications. These applications will enable our company to fully realize the potential within the vast data available to us. Some applications will be engineered from the ground up while some will rely on existing frameworks. In order to succeed this person must have a solid development foundation, an appetite for cutting edge technology, the charisma to justify risks, and the discipline to execute on time. *Skills Requirements:* • Highly motivated, well rounded person with excellent oral and written communication skills and excellent people skills. • Forward thinking, desire to use the newest technology and improve it • Ability to efficiently translate business requirements into technical execution • Experience architecting web based software applications • Enjoys working in very fast paced agile development environment • Experience documenting data flows, architectures and communication paths • Knowledge of Linux server administration and virtual machines • Solid knowledge of HTML, PHP, Javascript, and CSS • Experience creating user authentication and access management systems • Strong SQL knowledge and data manipulation skills • Experience creating and managing content management systems *Additional value-add skills and experience:* • Mobile application development • Tableau visualization expertise • Experience with containerization/cloud technologies • Database/ETL experience with SQL/NOSQL, ETL tools • Experience with web frameworks Angular/ Node.js • Passion for using data to tell stories and solve problems • The patience needed to work in a large company, and the tenacity to overcome the inherent challenges. Responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure. Includes the implementation and design of hardware and software. Monitors the performance of systems. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
