*Essential functions:*

Reporting to the Manager, Application Operations, the Technical Project
Manager performs critical design and systems implementation activities in
the area of Application Operations with a focus on consolidation and
capacity planning across existing corporate Web hosting environments and
acts as a SME on MS Technologies (ASP Classic, ASP .NET, VB, PB, C, C++,
C#, Cobol, Visual C++) used in Windows environments and sets standards
working with Application Architects. Additionally, the Engineer will work
with the Application Operations Team Project Leads in project planning and
execution.

*Responsibilities to include overseeing:*

· Thoroughly understands *ASP Classic, ASP.NET , VB
(Visual Basic), PB (Power Builder), C, C++, C#, Cobol, Visual C++*
Environment creation and management for respective application.

· Application Server/Web Server configuration standards.

· Hosting and Database environment HA design.

· Troubleshooting and finding RCAs in hosting and database
environments.

· Data collections and capacity planning.

· New technologies review and evaluation.

· Hosting environment fine tuning and performance optimization.

*Highly Desired:*

· Proven ability to produce comprehensive analysis backed up by
data collection and testing.

· Server Engineering: Knowledge of Storage Area Networks, H/A disk
arrays, NAS, Unix, Windows and Linux OS.

· Networking: Switches, routers, sniffers, routing protocols F5 Big
IP, FTP, Firewalls, Appliance Proxies, DNS, and various protocols.

· Security: Detailed understanding of intrusion detection, port
security, Server and Application hardening, encryption, PKI,
SSL/Certificate management and LDAP.

· ITIL awareness.

*Experience:*

· *Minimum* *7 years (L3)* of comprehensive experience in mentioned
technologies and problem solving experience with mentioned applications,
infrastructure and IP network issues.
