Please review the requirement and if you find it matching your profile then send me your updated resume ASAP/IMMEDIATE *Job Title: BI Project Manage Location: Verona, NY* *Duration: 6 months* We have an urgent need for a Business Intelligence/Analytics Project Manager for a short-term project with Oneida Casino in Verona, NY. It’s due to go until the end of the year, if not a bit longer. We’re looking for solid BI and Analytics project experience (specific tech involved isn’t as important), great communication skills, and good PM credentials. They’ll need to be onsite every week. · Responsible to drive the process to deliver effective business intelligence solutions by working closely with product owners, architects, developers and quality assurance. · Work with the entire business intelligence team and stakeholders to prioritize, plan and execute on the project roadmap for the analytics platform. · Oversee multiple projects and workstreams as part of the overall program structure · Develop comprehensive project plans consisting of milestones, detailed deliverables, resource estimates, and schedules for each major phase of a project. · Manage the execution, documentation and timely approval of project deliverables, while controlling scope, executing the change management process as needed. · Proactively identify, communicate and manage project risks and issues. Escalate to IT management and project sponsors as appropriate · Establish and manage project cadence and governance including regularly scheduled status updates to Steering Committee, Management Team and other stakeholders. · Work collaboratively across IT and business functions as needed to successfully deliver projects and programs. · Motivate project team members to achieve project goals, create a project environment that enables peak performance by team members Qualifications: · BS/BA in Computer Science, IT or equivalent · 3-5+ years Project or Program Management experience · Experience in establishing a BI strategy and roadmap · Exposure to SaaS BI, IBM Cognos suite · Knowledge of data warehousing concepts · Strong background in Project/Program Management, including experience developing work-breakdown structures and project plans, most notably in Microsoft Project. · Extensive leadership and communication skills (verbal and written), ability to conduct effective meetings · High degree of professional confidence and credibility with the presence and communication skills to represent IT-related concepts effectively with executive-level management. · Proven experience managing multiple, concurrent IT projects/programs. · Experience leading a team of internal and external resources · Ability to build collaborative relationships among many diverse groups, working in various time zones, who are pursuing disparate goals – including Kronos upper management · Exposure to multiple PM methodologies (PMP Certification, Agile Scrum Master) preferred.
